To implement and maintain the complete LAN infrastructure within the new Academy. The Network consists of a Diverse Routed 10gb Fibre Backbone system with a Category 6 Brand Rex system providing the final end user connection. The Cabling system is designed to support the Data, Voice, CCTV and Multi Media services.

The Academy is sponsored by the United Learning Trust which was established to create a family of Academies that provide outstanding education based on the Christian principles of service and tolerance. It was formed in 2002 as a subsidiary of the United Church Schools Trust which has been running high-quality schools in the UK for over 120 years.
